Zandvoort, Scheveningen and Rotterdam

Yesterday and today we got out of Amsterdam and took a quick train to the beach town of Zandvort. It's a lot like the Jersey shore, complete with boardwalks and casinos, except that these are topless beaches. Unfortunately, it was rainy and cold, so no one was there. Then we took a train to Scheveningen, a bigger beach town. I took lots of picture of Eric Gever in front of the Gevers Hotel and Gever Street. It was still very cold and windy, but there were dozens of kite surfers in the ocean (and one loser wind surfer), which was very cool to watch.

They're pretty bad at checking train tickets, so we've gotten pretty far with no tickets in some cases. We're now in Rotterdam, couch surfing with Jan, an IT consultant who is already hosting a guy from Italy and a girl from Canada. Rotterdam is the 2nd largest port in the world.
